What is AQI?
Air Quality Index (AQI) is a standardized scale from 0-500 that indicates air pollution levels. Lower is better: 0-50 is Good, 51-100 is Moderate, above 100 is increasingly unhealthy.
What pollutants are measured?
We report PM2.5 (fine particles), PM10 (coarse particles), ground-level ozone, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and carbon monoxide where available.
How often is data updated?
Air quality data is updated hourly from monitoring stations. Some locations may have more frequent updates.
What locations are supported?
We cover major cities and metropolitan areas worldwide. Coverage is best in North America, Europe, and major Asian cities.
What do the AQI categories mean?
Good (0-50): No risk. Moderate (51-100): Sensitive groups may be affected. Unhealthy for Sensitive (101-150): Children, elderly, and those with conditions should limit outdoor activity. Higher values indicate increasing health risks.
Can I get forecasted air quality?
Currently we provide real-time readings. Air quality forecasting is on our roadmap for future development.
